Content: This workshop will explore the varieties and strengths of marijuana and concentrates as well as the signs, symptoms and short/long‐term effects of use. We will briefly explore closely related trends that include vaping. Covered will be current trends (national and state) and aspects of both medical and legalized marijuana. Included will be a discussion of the highlights of the NYS MRTA (Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act, April 2021) as well as recent revisions. Discussion will include implications and considerations for our work with youth, families and communities.
