Content: This workshop will provide an overview of military member identification, focusing on veteran status, familiarization with all branches of service, and classifications of discharge status. Discussion will include creating and understanding of how we as a support structure can better support and serve this specific population. Also covered will be considerations for counselors when working with veterans who are impacted by addiction.
