Content: This workshop will provide an understanding of the basic definitions specific to this population to include language and cultural differences, as well as relevant national and local statistics. Discussed will be a historical perspective, identifying both barriers and engagement strategies. Also covered will be the building of a therapeutic relationship utilizing evidence-based practice.
