Content: During this workshop the goal is to familiarize community providers with VA evidence-based treatment approaches that can be utilized in community treatment programs. Discussed will be the structure and exercises used in the Cognitive Behavioral Coping Skills Group. Also covered will be the techniques to address self-blame related to sexual abuse using CBT. Additionally covered will be the application of the Strength-At-Home approach for building effective assertive interpersonal skills with clients who resort to aggressive behaviors within their relationships.
