Content: This workshop will focus on the relationship between sexual health and substance use in order to advance alliance-building skills, develop effective recovery plans and reduce the chance of a relapse. Discussions will include developing a skill set and a mental attitude that foster successful sexual health conversations as well as identifying some of the sexual concerns which drive substance use and its subsequent effects on sexual functioning. Participants will be encouraged to explore their own thoughts about sexual health and develop competency in having these important conversations with clients.
